Foundation For International Taxation
Annual International Taxation Conference
Master Course
The Foundation for International Taxation (FIT) offers a specialized “Master Course” in Taxation of the Digital Economy, designed for experienced professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in this rapidly evolving area. Launched in April 2014, this course addresses the complexities and challenges posed by digital transactions and the taxation frameworks that govern them.
International Taxation
International taxation focuses on cross-border transactions and the tax rules in domestic laws that affect these transactions. Understanding international taxation requires a comprehensive study of tax laws and policies in both home and host jurisdictions, along with an in-depth examination of bilateral tax treaties and international tax practices.
Reference Library of International Taxation
To further support tax professionals, FIT plans to establish a reference library of international tax books, journals, and databases at its Mumbai office. This library will be freely accessible to all professionals interested in studying and researching international taxation, addressing one of the major challenges faced by professionals: access to quality study materials.
Vision
Our medium to long-term goal is to establish a world-class educational academy for international taxation studies in India, based in Mumbai. We look forward to your support in achieving this vision.
The Foundation has benefited from the guidance of Professor Klaus Vogel, a renowned expert in international taxation.
